A simple whole chicken recipe the entire family will love.
Heat oven to 425°F. Line a 15x10-inch rimmed baking pan with foil. Place chicken on pan. Cut limes into 4 wedges each; place 2 wedges inside chicken; tie legs together with kitchen twine and tuck wing tips under.
Squeeze juice from 2 wedges; mix with honey and set aside, along with remaining lime wedges.
Mix garlic powder, chili powder, smoked paprika, oregano, and salt. Drizzle chicken with olive oil; rub with spice mixture.
Place chicken in oven. Roast for 40 minutes. Remove from oven; brush with honey-lime mixture and arrange reserved limes around chicken. Return to oven; roast 20 minutes longer or until juices run clear and the internal temperature is 165°F. Brush once more with any remaining honey-lime glaze. Serve chicken with roasted limes.
