Any chili powder could be substituted for the chipotle, but the smokiness of the jalapeños adds a bigger flavor to this sticky, garlicky glaze.
Mix the honey, oregano, chili powder, oil, garlic, and salt in a large bowl until well blended. Add wings; turn and massage the glaze into the wings.
Heat oven to 425°F or grill to medium heat. Arrange wings on a large parchment or foil-line rimmed baking sheet or on the grill. Bake, turning once, 20 to 25 minutes or grill 15 to 20 minutes, until crispy, tender, and juices run clear. Cook to internal temp of 165°F.
