Basil and Plums Sautéed with Ginger Honeyed Chicken
Basic Glazed Chicken Tenders with Ginger are sautéed with onions and plums to create a simple supper that will become a fall favorite.

Ingredients

Just BARE® Hand-Trimmed Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast Tenders
2 tablespoons
peeled, finely chopped ginger
3 cloves
garlic, finely chopped
1
medium red onion, coarsely chopped
1 teaspoon
salt
1/2 teaspoon
pepper
3
ripe plums, pitted and sliced into thin wedges
1 tablespoon
honey
2 tablespoons
cider vinegar
Juice of 1 lime
2 tablespoons
fresh basil leaves, chiffonade
Directions
- In large skillet, melt butter over medium high heat. Add chicken breast tenders, ginger, garlic, onion, salt and pepper. Cook, turning occasionally, for 6 to 8 minutes or until chicken just begins to brown.
- Add plums during the last five minutes of cooking. Stir in honey and drizzle with cider vinegar. Continue cooking, turning occasionally, for 3 to 4 minutes or until chicken is golden brown and glazed.
- Just before serving, squeeze lime juice over the chicken tenders and sprinkle with basil leaves.
