Lisa Golden Schroeder is a 26-year veteran of the food industry, starting out in the test kitchens at General Mills and then working as a food journalist and editor, food stylist, and cooking teacher. Her writing and classes have always been grounded in teaching good cooking techniques that promote health and wellness in families. She's taught locally in the Twin Cities and nationally. Her favorite subjects are baking bread from scratch and cooking with whole grains and fresh, seasonal produce. Lisa has authored several cookbooks, including a book on scratch baking called At Home with Bread. As the menu director of an online company call Simplicious, she helps provide healthy, delicious and simple weekday recipes for families.
